“The private tour of the castle was excellent although felt a bit rushed. The 3 course dinner was nice but the true highlight was the concert in the orangerie. If possible, get the VIP tickets so you can have better seats for the concert.”

“The staff at the palace were very helpful & friendly. The first part of the evening was a self guided tour around the palace with an audio guide but the staff were there on hand throughout. Dinner was served at Gerstner’s inside the palace grounds - again the staff were friendly & helpful. We had a traditional Austrian meal - beef broth & dumpling, braised beef in a very delicious gravy & strudel. All excellent! Finally the highlight of the tour was the concert which started at 8:30. We went back into the palace & as we had a glass of sparkling wine included we collected this at the queueing…”

Choose Category A or VIP seating, arrive early for the best free seat, and request a vegetarian meal ahead of time.

“Very confusing on first going to the ticket office and then looking for exactly where the restaurant was and then walking all the way back, in heels on cobblestone. The meal was ok but we were crowded together for no reason as there was plenty of available tables preventing us from sitting elbow to elbow with a perfect stranger. The concert was fabulous.”
